OMO Ilinden PIRIN is the political party of the Macedonian minority in
Bulgaria. It was registered as a political party in 1999 and participated in
municipal elections in October 1999, where it elected five local officials.
However, on February 29, 2000, the Constitutional Court in Bulgaria declared OMO
"Ilinden" - PIRIN unconstitutional.
OMO stands for Obedineta Makedonska Organizacija - United Macedonian
Organization.

Vergina star flags often contain a blue object in
the center. According to the statute of the OMO Ilinden - PIRIN, this blue
object is the
flower edelweiss, which grows in Pirin mountain, today's Bulgaria. It
also stated
that this object should be on the party flag, but images I found are
without it.
It is probably cheaper to manufacture them that way.
